Jon Mark Fletcher ("Fletch") currently resides in Orange County (New York), but is a native of Florida. He began drawing and painting in high school and studied formally at the University of South Florida. He went on to study privately with painters from the Henry Hensche School in Cape Cod and later at the Artist Students League in New York. His influences are primarily from the London and California schools, most notably Richard Diebenkorn and Trevor Bell. His paintings use both color and allegory to expressively capture mood. They are in several private collections.

Fletch's other artistic pursuits include writing plays and playing and teaching banjo.
